Underwater welding is as important a part of marine construction and ships husbandry as printing is to the publishing industry. The weld is literally the glue that holds much of the underwater industry together, an integral part of subsea construction and repair.

Triton Diving Services can provide additional expertise and resources to handle more complex underwater repair works. Triton Diving Services are fully equipped to deal with any situation. Using specially designed cofferdams and hyperbaric chambers, defective shell plating sections can be replaced underwater by class approved permanent dry welding. Our services include: • Dry weld permanent repair of shell plating and appendages • Wet weld temporary and permanent repairs • Anode installation • Impact damage repairs • Holes, cracks and cavitation

When necessary, custom fabrication of habitats are carried out on-site. Our mobile unit is set up to travel beyond our shores. Our underwater welders are AWS. 3.6 M 1999 ‘A’ class welders and are there to help you with your requirements.. Triton Diving Services provide a Cutting service using the Broco Underwater Ultra-thermic system. The Ultra-thermic Cutting Rod produces a temperature in excess of 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit; hot enough to quickly cut or melt through almost anything including cast iron, stainless steel, brass, other ferrous and non-ferrous metals and concrete. The cutting Rod cuts through marine growth, rust and mill scale eliminating the need for pre-cleaning and helping lower operating costs and reducing bottom time.
